Check it out man. Fack has FOUR sacks this year, compared to the COMBINED four of Matthews and Perry.

Weird, right?

Granted Matthews was robbed of a couple in early games. Wanna know the freakiest part? The Packers are THIRD IN THE LEAGUE in the adjusted stat of sacks "per play." Per defensive play. It was in one of these podcasts. I think it was Bukowski on Locked On Packers.

Not bad, and I attribute that to Pettine.

In no way should he come close to being the 3-4th best pass rusher on a team though. He's made a few splash plays, but many other plays have been horrible. If all his plays were averaged, I'm guessing the results would be average at best, and likely below average overall. People love sacks, but I prefer consistent pressure and edge setting.

But I think Fackrell is best sited for more traditional OLB (ie 4-3 OLB) more than blitzer.

Also Fackrell has 4 sacks, but 3 of them were against the Bills who don't have much at OT... so some OT probably just couldn't handle his long reach.

Can't stand the way people use the term jack of all trades here. Fackrell sucks at everything he does. He is not a jack of all trades just because he still does it. That term implies he is decent to good at everything. He is not.
