I agree on one comment that was made and that is this would be a classic Ted Thompson pick. Ted Thompson seems to take the guys that need work and have alot of the so called potential. Doesnt really seem like it matters what they do on the field.

Going along with the "classic" motif, I'd have to say this is a classic dhazer comment.

Does it get boring saying the same things over and over?
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

I think its funny you guys try to jump on me but yet Zero agreed with me and nothing is said about him. Yaaa we might draft another Bustin Harrell or hell another AJ Hawk. I'm glad people think Nelson was worth that #1 pick i'm glad we wasted our 1st rounder on him so he could be a bench player.

As far as our pick i think we should trade down and stay away from Raji and get Brace in the 2nd round.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Can we grab a nice OT in the first at 9 and still get brace in the second?
whats the chances he'll still be there?

AJ Hawk? He has one "average to not good" season and now he's a bust? Come one, give me a break! Think of what he could have done with a defensive line like the Vikings' in front of him.....

Please explain to me how Jordy Nelson is a bench player. Returned kick offs and was our 3rd string WR. How many times did we not have a 3rd WR on the field? I'd say the majority of the time he WAS on the field.

It isn't that funny. Almost every post you make is in a negative spirit or else its a backhanded slam of some sort. That is why you get negative responses, it's not that surprising. Even when Zero agreed with you his post didn't have a negative attitude.

Yeah his early picks seem to be of potential and his later picks seem to be down to earth hard nose football types who are very passionate about football.

I think you need to find that football passion in the earlier rounds too.

Back to this post, I wouldn't mind Oher, but not at 9, we can trade back a few spots and get him. I still would rather have Big Andre manning RT next year next to Sitton at guard and let them plow the way.

I don't see Raji in our future even if he falls to us. I see him more as a DT in a 43. Now his partner Brace is a different story. I woulnd't mind seeing us trade up into the late 1st round just to make sure we get him.

I'd love that. We could use some more nastiness on the offensive line. I'm not sure how much of a fit Smith is. Are we fully committed to the ZBS next year or will there be some mixture of man blocking? I love Smith as a RT, but I think Oher might be a better fit for the stuff we do.

I think Oher is safe, but i'd prefer something different at #9. I prefer Andre Smith if available. He has the ability to be a beast.

If we can move down to around 12-15, then grab Oher, at #9...I don't know.

At #9, I'd be completely fine with any of these guys who I've seen projected to be available when we pick:

Jackson (DE, LSU)
Raji
Orakpo
Maybin
Smith (Alabama OT)
Oher

Mucky Tundra (23-Apr) : is Aiyuk worth a 1st rounder?
Zero2Cool (23-Apr) : 49ers are seeking a 1st round pick in exchange for WR Brandon Aiyuk
Mucky Tundra (22-Apr) : Based on Gutes comments, now I don't feel as silly having 13 picks in my mock the other day

beast (21-Apr) : Sometimes looking extremely amazing, sometimes looking extremely lost
beast (21-Apr) : I haven't looked into the QBs, but some have suggested Maye has some of the most extremely inconsistent tape they've seen
beast (21-Apr) : Well it also sounds like Patriots are listening to trade offers, not that seriously considering any, but listening means they aren't locked
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Maye needs to be AFC
Mucky Tundra (21-Apr) : Not liking the idea of the Vikings getting Maye
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Vikings HC joked that he may or may not have sent flowers to Bob Kraft. That's where rumor came from.
