Z was out there for 47 out of 54 snaps. Gary was on the field for those plays. When Z is giving everything he's got, he has to take a break from time to time. He doesn't want to do it while on the field.

P Smith only took 1 play off.

I hope Gary gets a ton of reps in meaningless moments to get his reps up, in which I'm hoping is this week 17 game.

Gary, you're from (college in) Michigan, so this should be like a homecoming! Go Get'Em! Show the Lions they're the second best professional team in their state 😉 hehehe kidding 😊

I don’t expect Gary to get more reps in week 17 unless it’s a blowout.
I think the coaching staff knows that he is what he is.

Why the hell not? Unless it's a very tight game, it makes no sense to risk injuries to the star starters when you got a high potential backup that needs the reps in what is ultimately almost a meaningless game.
