Randy Ramsey, Yosh Nijman and Malik Taylor Aaron Rodgers probably pretty close to # 51,52 and 53 on the team. They have dodged another bullet Sunday when Green Bay didn't sign someone who had been released by one of the other teams to take their place. Of course having Ento and Martin placed on IR probably helped a little.

Yeah Gute said with this odd season it was partly making a leap of faith, and these guys were all on the PS last year, beating out guys that were here last season.
I think the other story is that Gute prefers high potential players, which you see in his draft choices and roster choices, if you got a guy that's ready to play but has low ceiling potential, and you got a guy that's no where near ready to play but has high ceilings potential, Gute is going to chase that higher potential.
As we see in Nijman over Light and Taylor over Kumerow... a little different with Ramsey as Tim Williams has elite quickness, but he seems to lack verstility, as he's not physically enough and he's not elite in coverage.
