I haven't watched Jarvis Landry lately, but he used to be so good all 32 teams should be interested in him at the right price, though looks like his numbers have gone down recently.

But I'm sure the Packers would check on him to see his ballpark price at minimum, even if not one of the leaders for getting him.

I think Gutey & Co call on everybody just to see what their price is. If they know Landry's asking price they have a better idea of what to offer their WRs. If they check on DTs they know how to treat their D linemen. It costs nothing to ask. Blue check mark people fail to grasp this concept and only believe it a team calls, they want the player. Using that concept gives the something to write about and gives them clicks. So in the long run, they don't care if their comments are accurate or not. It's one of the reasons I avoid reading articles or tweets put out by any organization. I don't want to sort through their spin doctrine. Blue check marks are bad enough.
