Veteran WR Sammy Watkins is in Green Bay today for a visit with the #Packers, per @MikeGarafolo. Potential receiver help for Aaron Rodgers. Watkins spent last season in Baltimore.

Well, here's hoping he can stay healthy
“Nah. I like having the island. It’s pretty cool...not too many visitors”

Is he washed up though? I hope they still look for some help in the draft. Sooner rather than later.

I can only imagine this impacting the draft if the Packers already drafted 1 WR and then they have a WR and another guy at a different position equally graded, they might then lean towards the latter because they got the veteran WR in the building. That's a big IF and really doubt it would even come to that.

This really just feels like a depth signing. I wouldn't be surprised if they sign another veteran WR.

Good signing by Gute. Changes nothing in the draft. Gute will still draft multiple WRs.

LaFleur and Rodgers both "excited" about Sammy Watkins. LaFleur was OC with the Rams in 2017 when Sammy was there. Averaged 15 yards a catch and 8 TDs with Goff as his QB.

The first of many WRs added to the room.

I'm thinking this just means the Packers probably aren't going to draft 3 WRs, so probably only two now. Unless they think they might be able to sneak a guy to the PS.

Packers normally keep 6 WRs and the 6th one is normally more of a STer than WR.

Packers already got Lazard, Cobb, Rodgers and now Watkins, whom probably aren't going anywhere, this just leaves two WR spots.

Sammy Watkins will wear #11 for the Pack. I guess it's 1+1=2 for his number at Clemson. 14 is retired.

I like this signing the more I think about it. Sammy has something to prove and is still only 28(29 in June)

Fits well in LaFleur's offense.

Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.

Zero2Cool (9-May) : -3 buwahhhahaaha
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
