AJ Dillon had been fairly solid. But it seems Patrick Taylor adds a spark to the offense. Someone needs to tell that kid when to get his ass out of bounds. But his four carries were very impactful where as Dillon was less effective.

The carries should be more to Taylor than Dillon. I say he's earned it.

The carries should at least be split more evenly. I said it during the game in the chat that I thought Taylor is better than Dillon.

Re comment 2, the title of the thread is "Patrick Taylor or AJ Dillon" as if it is an either/or decision. My comment meant to say that most every team rotate 2 backs, ergo they are both going to see lots of reps. i.e. it is not one or the other.

And I don't think he has "earned it", a second back is a necessity and he is the tallest midget at this point.

You asked who. I give you answer and you try to dismiss it SOLELY because you don't agree? What are we doing here? Why even ask a question of you're gonna pull that crap? What a waste of time. The internet hard drive is filling up!!

I'm sticking with the original thought I had. Patrick Taylor deserves to get more rushing attempts than AJ Dillon. 4 for Taylor and 15 for Dillon is lopsided in the wrong direction.

I think the plays need to be broken down a bit more to the type of plays they're being used in, as Taylor's plays might have more explosive potential, vs Dillon running it in running situations which has less explosive potential as the defense is looking for it more.

And often times the #2 RB, for whatever reason, has a larger yards per rush than the starter (I think once again, due to defensive expectations and how they're used).

That being said, absolutely, Taylor has looked more explosive and gotten more per opportunity than Dillon ... but again, that's kinda common among backup vs starting RBs... but Taylor has seemed to do it more than average. So I agree, from the outside looking it seems Taylor deserves more opportunities.

But I think Dillon might be asked to do a lot more of the tough yardage and between the OGs type of plays and Taylor more to the outside, so I'm not sure it's apples to apples, but Taylor seems like he deserves more opportunities.

Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then

dfosterf (2-May) : The number on Love is going to be brutal.
Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
beast (1-May) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position
dfosterf (1-May) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
