The Packers are starting to schedule their official visitors in the ramp-up to Draft Day in April.

The 2024 NFL Draft  is exactly six weeks away, and the Green Bay Packers  have begun setting up official visits for draft prospects. Green Bay has historically drafted many of the players whom they bring in for the formal “Top-30” visits, so tracking these prospects is a worthwhile exercise.

Last year , the Packers drafted four of the players who they brought in on these visits and acquired two more, either as undrafted free agents after the draft or as free agents later on in the year. Dontayvion Wicks, Sean Clifford, Karl Brooks, and Lew Nichols were all drafted by Green Bay on the third day of the 2023 NFL Draft, while the team acquired Kadeem Telfort and Ben Sims later on.

As the name indicates, NFL teams can each bring in 30 prospects for these formal visits in the weeks ahead of the Draft, but they have other opportunities to meet with additional prospects. The team will hold a local Pro Day for prospects who either live or who finished their college careers at programs near the team’s facilities, and they can also hold virtual meetings with additional players as well.

APC will keep this list updated with news of confirmed visits, virtual meetings, and local Pro Day visitors in the weeks leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft.

Confirmed Top-30 Visits

Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M

The consensus #1 linebacker in the 2024 NFL Draft, Cooper will be visiting the Packers and a number of other teams (source ).

Zak Zinter, OL, Michigan

The Packers are bringing in Zinter for a visit, likely to have the team’s medical staff give him a full evaluation and workout. The Wolverines’ starting center broke two bones in his leg in the regular season finale against Ohio State  and is currently working to recover from the injury, but he was recently cleared for full activity . Zinter is generally seen as a borderline top-100 prospect .

Michael Hall, Jr., DT, Ohio State

Hall, who declared after his redshirt sophomore season, is another potential top-100 pick coming to Green Bay this spring. He did not test at the 2024 NFL Combine , but he appears to be a highly athletic interior pass-rush specialist who could be a fit as a 3-technique tackle in the Packers’ 4-3 front.

Jarrian Jones, CB, Florida State

The first defensive back reported to have a visit with the Packers is Jones,  who served as the Seminoles’ slot cornerback in 2023. His play picked up significantly when moving inside for his final season, as he picked off a career-high three passes, returning one for a touchdown. Jones initially enrolled at Mississippi State before transferring to Florida State after his true freshman year, then played four years in Tallahassee. The owner of a 9.87 RAS , the 6-foot, 190-pound Jones posted a blistering 4.38-second 40-yard dash at the 2024 Combine. He is currently rated 148th on the consensus draft board , putting him in the round 4-5 range.

Khristian Boyd, DT, Northern Iowa

The first late-round pick/potential UDFA of the group is Boyd, who posted about his visit to Lambeau on his Instagram on March 21st . Northern Iowa is a strong FCS program that has produced plenty of NFL players (running back David Johnson, offensive tackle Trevor Penning, edge rusher Bryce Paup, and Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner among them). Boyd was listed at 6-foot-4 and 317 pounds by the Panthers and played nose tackle in their 3-4 defense.

Ja’Quan Sheppard, CB, Maryland

The Packers are bringing in another cornerback for a visit in the form of Sheppard, according to Tony Pauline . The 6-foot-1, 201-pounder did not test at the Combine in Indianapolis, but reportedly ran in the low 4.5s at Maryland’s Pro Day. A grad transfer from Cincinnati before the 2023 season, Sheppard will likely be a late-round pick or UDFA, given a #318 ranking on the consensus draft board.

Rumored

Trevin Wallace, LB, Kentucky

I could be wrong, but I don't think Boys is going to be a late round pick, I think he's going mid round and glad to see the Packers looking into him.

Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : I really don't know lol. I don't see him getting blown up.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."

beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.

Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
