I have no idea why Gruden thinks this. Vick was a better passer and runner than him and look how successful he was.

Oh I guess he has the intangibles of being a Saint and can hook up with incredibly hot women. Case in point:

Incredibly hot? Those monstrously huge hooters are a major turn-off.

Then again, I've never understood the American obsession with big boobs.

Hey, I'm not even a big hooter type of guy, but that woman is hot in my book.

Tebow will come after you with a post like that.

I think Tim Tebow will be drafted for much the same reason as Pat White was this year.

Speaking of Pat White, Peter King  thinks he'll move up to No. 2 on the Dolphins' depth chart this season -- and for a rather interesting reason:

I think the story of August in Miami might well be second-round pick Pat White (taken, by the way, with the choice the Dolphins got from Washington in the Jason Taylor trade last year) passing Chad Henne on the depth chart ... with an asterisk.

Henne's the quarterback of the future in Miami; I'm fairly certain of that. Henne's learning at the feet of Chad Pennington, and I'm told he's been a classic student of the game. But it's possible that the quarterback depth chart in September could read Pennington one, White two and Henne three -- even though Henne would be the clear No. 2.

This is because the Dolphins could have more use for White to play every week in odd formations like the Wildcat than they'd have for Henne. In the NFL, as you know, a third quarterback can dress as the 46th active player, but if the third quarterback plays before the fourth quarter, neither of the first two quarterbacks are eligible to play. So it makes sense to have White be the second if the Dolphins have him in the game plan every week to take three or four change-of-pace snaps. Given that White rushed for more than 4,400 yards and completed 65 percent of his collegiate throws, it's ridiculous to NOT use him somehow in pro games.

A running back can play with broken fingers, a quarterback can not(unless you're Favre)

A running back can get dinged in the head, be a little fuzzy and still be out there. A quarterback can not.

A running back can have a sore back, shoulders, chest, etc. A quarterback can not.

If Tebow is gonna play this style in the pro's, he can never be all by himself out there. You will always need a top notch backup qb. Vick could get away from people with speed. Tebow will not. He thinks he's gonna run through NFL linebackers and D-lineman. They will lay him out. Maybe he could play decently for a couple of years but he will be injury prone and ineffective. He needs to try and copy Steve McNairs gameif he can. I mean, McNair was slinging the ball all over the place in college. I dont see Tebow doing that. Tebow is very raw, should be a 2nd rounder like Pat White to run a wildcat offense somewhere and try to groom him as a qb.

I don't really follow college football, but Tebow seems like a major gimmick with no real outstanding talent to play in anything but the Wildcat as a QB.

Another wildcat QB? I doubt that they will want two of them. Especially after giving up a 2nd rounder on a player that is, most likely, not going to be on the field for every offensive snap.

He might have more chance to play for a team that doesn't use it as often and has a QB with bust written all over him. The Chiefs.
