I heard on the radio yesterday that Aaron Rodgers had some not so kind words so to speak about Kampman. I think he gave the 'get on board' speech to the media about the switch.

One might say, what does a QB know about the OLB position? A lot actually because they have to know their tenancies and responsibilities. It's called reading a defense.


Does anyone have a transcript or link to these comments? Also, it should be known that both of these two men are best of friends.

What do you think of Rodgers essentially calling out Kampman? Good, bad?

but i also think he is a little out of line by asking a player to do something he may not be comfortable with or succeed at.

I think you heard wrong cuz Rodgers would never call out his team mates or take it to the media, its not his style i guess you heard someone editing one of his convos to make it sound bad like the shut the hell up comment 😛
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I think that this is what you are looking for? It sounds like a weird interview from the start. Maybe he wasn't in the mood or something.

Anyway, Rodgers makes some very good points. He has only had 3 sacks in the 4-3, the rest in special packages. He ought to top that in the 3-4. Just listen to it yourself (For the people not blocked by websense).

Some other nice podcasts on there as well. Tauscher's a pretty great guy.

Thanks Rock good find.

But after listening to that Rodgers sounds like his ego is huge as expected.Him saying AK shouldn't get paid for what they expect of him was asinine seeing he got the big payday for the same thing but it's not good enough for others. I guess we will hear stories that this was all taken out of context of course.

I agree with what he says, for the most part. But i really disagree about how and where he says it(tone and in public on some wanker radio show).

It just seems pretty disrespectful, and not really productive in any way.

Listened to it.. but I have to say, I approve of these comments about as much as I liked the "Shut up" comment.. not in the freaking least.

Maybe he just has to stick his foot in his mouth once a year... there is no mistaking his tone, words or meaning here. I hope Kampman pops him once in practice for this nonsense... "Apparently he doesn't understand" ... If I am Kampman I make his feel those words in practice.. #1 reason I hated QB's when I was playing ball.. that "walk on water" attitude.. most over hyped position in the game of football.. bunch of freaking head cases.. the works of them..

Hell I want to hit him myself..

Not a smart move to throw it out in the media like that. I guess Rodgers learned some bad lessons from #4 too. :lol:
