Man, sometimes I understand the "You all hate Favre!" crowd, and that bothers me. So he changed his mind, again - it's not shocking, and it certainly makes little difference to the Packers and their fans at this point. He's just another QB for our new attacking defense to - well, attack. No need for us to take this so personally.

Brett: Good luck. Given that you seem to have opted for minimum preparation this year, you'll probably need it.

My congratulations go out to McCarthey and Thompson for not letting Favre pull this bullshit on the Packers. No player should have the right to skip training camp, it's insulting to your teammates and bad for morale.

Chris carter just reported that Childress informed his team that Brett would start Friday night against the Chiefs.

The reports I have been seeing is that the contract is a 2 year deal worth 10 -12 million.

Also the report is Brett has a slight tear in his rotator cuff, one of the reasons he turned down The Vikings 3 weeks ago, it is being reported that he continued to work out and that he started feeling no pain.

I think if you ask any vet if they could skip training camp they would.

I heard the one reporter say that adding Brett makes the Vikings the prohibited favorites in the NFC.

That could be but they have always found a way to screw things up, so let's hope history repeats itself.

I am glad Brett is playing another year, not to happy it is for The Vikings, but will be rooting for him to have a good year, just not good games against The Packers.

Monday October 5th, things will be crazy.

Wait, so it's a two-year deal? So technically, he's playing for $5-$6 million a year? Or how much of this deal is guaranteed?

I just heard 2 year 10- 12 million, I don't know if it 10-12 a year or for both years.
