Yep - my lifelong Vikings fan wife is miserable, and another friend who's a lifelong fan is having a party to burn (yes, I said burn) all of his Vikings stuff. He's decided he no longer wants to be a Vikings fan.

No way- Let him play.

I am a Brett fan and we are all over this only because we ALL want him back in green and yellow.....

and Ted Thompson should be on the cutting block ...

Favre is not the same physically, but cannot help himself and will force some throws each game. The Packers should be especially capable of planning for this and using their knowledge of him to take advantage of him.

Negative. I didn't even want him back when there was first talk about him coming back (last year when he ended up with the Jets). And right now I'm beyond ecstatic about having Rodgers vs. this annual Favre drama.

Well, that's up for debate, of course, but it's fairly certain that short of a Super Bowl victory for the Vikings, this is Chilly's last year in Minnesota.
