Yeah, the Packers are worried.

I think it's pretty clear that the only people who still care about this at all are (in order of how much it matters to them): Favre, Packers fans, and Vikings fans. I'm guessing the team and FO are a little busy with other tasks at this point, and I would imagine that they really don't care.

Maybe the author should have mentioned that Childress was probably saying 'uh oh" when Aaron Rodgers was moving the ball down the field with ease on almost every drive of every game so far. Or maybe how Childress was saying "uh oh" when he saw our defense forcing multiple turnovers every game, giving the Packers a +10 turnover margin through the first 3 games.

I STILL laugh when i read how the Packers supposedly "dumped" Favre. He retired, unretired, the Packers were gonna let him come back as the starter, he quit again.
How is that "dumping" him?
I wish these so called "reporters" would get that straight. At least SOMETHING factual!

Last time i checked he got dumped, he did come back to the Packers and they traded him and those are the facts look it up 😛
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Charley Walters is as bad as senile Sid Hartman. He looks just as bad as the MJS sports writers when Favre was playing good for the Pack. Ugh.

Too bad there isn't fantasy sports page..

I think the reporter has a point. I mean, look at these statistics:

Comp Att Yds Avg TD Int Sck SckY Rate
RODGERS: 27 38 458 16.9 6 0 0 0 151.096

FAVRE: 14 22 146 10.4 1 0 2 12 63.636

Based on those numbers, I think Ted Thompson should be on the phone right now proposing a heads-up trade, Rodgers for Favre.

Favre envy, indeed.

The difference is, Favre was "playing good for the Pack". He looked more like a washed up QB clinging to what tenuous shreds of his talent still remained vs. Houston than I even anticipated he would. VS. HOUSTON for chrissakes. It's entirely possible he's not comfortable enough yet with the team, and it will improve. I don't think that's it though.
