Rouse takes a pathetic angle, players are jogging (other than Jenkins) hoping the other players gets him. Poppinga falls and I think he could have done something had he stayed on his feet.

Piss poor effort by everyone but Jenkins.

To top it all off, I counted SIX Packers players around the ball and TWO Bengals players...the fact that everyone had a piss poor effort resulted in them getting the fumble.

My stomach dropped watching that.

I can't fault Rouse for forcing the play back to the rest of the defense. If you look there are three Packers in pursuit there and the TE was still 10 yards away from the sideline.

I agree with the perfect execution conclusion.

It's the fault of Rouse. You don't ever force a player to the middle of the field. There's no reason for that. You cut the players options down, you don't increase them. Consider how we fail to wrap up a tackle and then consider that in the middle of the field. At least on the sideline our poor tackling technique could force him out of bounds instead of just bouncing off him while he gains more yards.

was that bush at the end right as he fumbled who came and looked like he was afraid to tackle him? had he tackled him there there is no way he recovers that fumble.

Yes, that was Bush. I was mistaken, I thought it was Woodson.

Now I really REALLY want Bush gone!

3rd and 34 brings back memories of 4th and 26. Don't know how they give those up but they did. However with people like Nick Barnett celebrating for joy over 1 tackle even after the D has been sucky , im shocked we dont give more of these types of plays up. As barnett is more concerned with tweeting, I wonder what the rest of the D is concerned with?, surely isn't the game. They should make a rule you only get paid if you win(that would't work because they already think they don't get paid enough for playing football).

oh, yes, if you give up 34 yards on a screen play it's a team fuck up.

you don't beat a screen play by hoping one of the safeties does everything right. you beat a screen play by beating the crap out of the other team and tackling the guy before he gets to the LOS.

I love how after dude fumbles, he's crawling faster than our guys are running! Minus Jenkins....thank God for him and Woody in that game!

If the safety takes away two lanes forcing him to the outside, it increases the chances of the runner not making 20 yards and maybe Bush wraps the runner up instead of pretending like he's stealing home plate, they don't recover the fumble.

I watched the play a few times. Bengals did a excellent job on the screen. Rouse is gone, I seen him take a piss poor angle (in my opinion) so I'm putting on him. (puts fingers in ear and sings dahh dahh dee dahh dee dahhh) 🙂
