He just didn't seem to fired up tonight. Looked really lazy on some plays?

What's your thoughts guys?

Seems like Al gets burnt in big games. Tonight, playoffs against the Giants, the primetime game against the Cowboys. Although its hard to know without knowing the play. If it was a zone coverage on the TD, the safety was probably responsible for the wideout after 10-15 yards.

Tramon Williams played pretty bad tonight too.

Something was not right with the entire D.

First of all, they hardly blitzed. You could seriously wonder if our DC was the same Dom Capers associated with Blitzburg. Astonishingly bad pass-rush, and just as astonishing to see a lack of blitzes.

I think Favre did a solid job of realizing Al's tendencies and exploiting them. A couple of times I recall seeing Al being nonchalant in setting up at the LOS. I think Favre, by design, kept the snap count short and caught Al off guard.

Either way, I'm not as worried about Al as I am the pass-rush. It was just as bad as last year during Sanders' tenure.

And on top of that, I'm worried that our best pass-rusher in Aaron Kampman is being taken away from playing to his strengths. I'm much more worried about our utilization of Aaron than Al.

Pass coverage sucked as a whole. No pressure was made by the front seven.

I also thought that the safeties had disappeared for this game. I didn't realize them to involved with any plays that we're passes. Did you guys see any safeties plays that involved them?

Are you saying this because the announcers talked about it? I agree with you though. I thought our D was supposed to be 3-4 sometimes and 4-3 others. I haven't seen much 4-3 and definitely none tonight.

Trade Kampman for a quality tackle it's the only option we've got. His position in this scheme with the players we've got now ... it's replaceable.

Did anyone see al take out his mouth guard before the ball was caught during that td pass to i think it was berrian? I just thought it was kind of weird.
