Not sure if/how you can read that link if you don't have a 'LiveJournal' account or are not apart of the 'NFLFans' community there.. But I think you can see the post. Read it and the comments. BTW, I'm 'tenolein'.

That 'discussion' I'm having with the 'phoenixothon' person (I think is a female) is what's really funny to me. No matter her comeback, I'm not going to stop. Because it's my right not to when my team has beaten her team not once, but TWICE, this season. Or, to at least get her to resort to the classic lame duck defense of Super Bowl trophies.

Cheesey, the trophies themselves aren't lame.. Just the fact that the argument (or discussion) always resorts back to the empty trophy case the Vikings have (I'm pretty sure they give out an NFC Champions trophy, actually).

It's, in our eyes as Viking fans, the lamest comment we get. It's too easy to use that as a discussion point. And, in my opinion, it should be the last resort comment Packer fans use when in a 'discussion'. lol

1. The trophies themselves are not lame, nor what they represent, which seems to be missing from your lame argument.

2. The argument is ever-so-slightly lame, but you have to be in a position to make the argument for authorization to credibly critique it. Come talk to us if you are ever in a position to do so from a winner's perspective.

3. The NFC Championship trophy is so lame...I think it's actually an ice-sculpture... We don't count those in Green Bay, (I heard we keep ours in a walk-in freezer at St. Norbert College-something about a brisk tourist trade from Minnesota or something) I can see why the Lamekings and their fans would get excited about 'em, however.

4. It is so incredibly easy (and noticeably convenient) for Viking fans to call the Packer fans comments lame than it is to absorb the lameness of the team they root for, hence Viking fans comments about the lameness of our comments is the very definition of lameness, only exceeded by the hyper-extreme lameness of their mutual agreement that our comments are lame.

Thought I'd clear that up for ya. btw--Vikings fans are so lame that they don't even know that when we start talking about those 3 Super Bowl trophies... we are just being nice. We can go all the way to 12 with our argument, my theory being that we refrain from doing so because it is a concept that would appear as something akin to star-travel to your typical queen fan, so I'm not going there, much like you ain't fillin' any case with any trophy.

We use the NFC title trophies as door stops in Green Bay.

I understand what Formo is saying though.........it's kind of like us having a smoking hot beautiful girlfriend, and them having a butt ugly one. They don't want to be reminded. They will just keep reminding us how they have a really hot sister..........LOLOL!!!

Never said the trophies were lame. I said using them as an argument between two teams' successes against each other is lame. And old.

My non-Super Bowl winning team has swept your historically successful team this year.. Both in pretty convincing fashion. I'd say that's a winner's perspective.

Not really. But they are technically trophies. You guys can't use the 'empty trophy case' angle. Don't be mad I pointed that out. =)

You guys started the lameness. This is an equal opportunity league. Therefore, we will continue with our 'lame' comments.

Hey, I don't bring the Vikings trophies up anymore in arguments. I just ask why people root for a team that's going to play in LA?

Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.

    Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
    Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."
beast (8-May) : Though I'm a bit surprised letting go of CBs, I thought we needed more not less
beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.
