If anything I hope yesterday's officiating debacle(s) will facilitate a discussion over challenging missed calls. Coaches still only get two challenges. Shouldn't slow the game down. Then again, in OT the challenges all come from the booth. When Dansby crossed the goalline it didn't matter, though -- they weren't going to do anything about it.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

I just had the feeling while in the game chat, that we scored to soon that the end of the game. I was hoping for about 45 seconds remaining instead of 1:45.

I was thinking the same thing, but also need to consider that the TD was essential to stay alive in the game. They saw an opportunity to pick up the points, and did so when they had their chance, rather than trying to wind the clock down and taking a risk on a turnover or settling for 3 (which would have done no good.)

I live in Wisconsin and I am sick of the wine and cheese. Let me clear things up for Packer fans.

The grabbing of the face mask happened after the fumble. Rodgers is no longer a passer. When the ball is loose, there is no possession. The right call would be hands to the face. Even if that was called it would still be Arizona ball 15 yards from the spot of the foul.

One final tweet on end-of-game controversy -- there was no penalty because, by rule, roughing the passer cannot be called on a fumble.

Key point: Prior to the 2008 season, a rule change was approved that eliminated the foul for the incidental grasp of the facemask.

Maybe next year.

I would've gone for two with the way our defense played.

I mean, I'd rather lose with huge risk rather than have Rodgers humiliated like that.

It's not like Mike McCarthy didn't have the balls to onside kick it in the third quarter.

I think many are really missing the point of why so many are angry over the no-call on the facemask. Of course I am disappointed that they lost over a questionable play in OT, but what about PROTECTING THE QB? Point is, wether or not that call could have changed the outcome is not the main reason I am angry - My problem is the potential injury that could have occurred AND THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED!! The NFL made a huge deal about head injuries, and the refs dont follow through! I think action should be taken! Also I have read people arguing that he never "twisted" his facemask which doesn't matter - IT'S STILL DANGEROUS!

I cannot see any football fan arguing with that point, as even playing rival teams we don't hope for injuries - we just want to see our team play some good football! If this crap keeps happening, I think I will quit watching NFL games!

And add on to this article, Larry Fitzgerald got away with two pass interferences against Charles Woodson.

i was upset at how we first played, not what i expected but the 2nd half when o-line stepped up d-line was bad when they showed capers in the booth seemed he couldn't figure out what to do okay thats bad enough but when refs don't make the calls that's upsetting but when i saw that and new the team as a whole at the end did what they could the loss was easier to swallow.I know all of you have better input than i i dont care about tuck rules or that rule a face mask is a face mask hit jenkins got it in the same game when he was going down to the ground,we had a great year happy we got into the playoffs and look forward to next year.

I think the most worrisome thing about that picture is that the NFL somehow allowed a jackass with ADHD on the field (you can see it if you look closely, near the top right of the photo). That's just a danger to everyone playing.

Agreed though. Awful no-call. The ref was clearly so ecstatic about the holding penalty that he forgot to watch for people spearing the QB.
