ASHWAUBENON, Wis. The finality of Brett Favre's departure from the Green Bay Packers comes with a $475,000 price tag.

The Ashwaubenon home of the longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback is on the market.

Real estate agency Micoley and Co. is listing the 3,000-square-foot ranch home that has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Brown County property records assess the home's value at $424,900. The property's owner is D.L. Tynes. Deanna Favre's maiden name is Tynes.

Favre visited the Green Bay area in August, when he came out of retirement and then was traded to the New York Jets.

One thing I always thought was cool about Brett was for all his money he had nice houses but nothing first class. He had no need for a mansion wityh a pool

That's actually about as far from the truth as you can get. His home in Mississipi is a giant, idyllic estate. He also had a huge five bedroom, four car garage home in Green Bay with a full racquetball court.

This home sounds modest but it was what he downsized into when he started considering retirement 4-5 years ago.

i would. granted, i tell people that now, regarding my modest norcal apartment. but in this case it would be for realsies.
