But I agree with Finny. You can read these stats both ways. It's just like "when Grant runs for 100+ yards, we usually win". Don't know the exact numbers on that one, but they're pretty high.

Maybe these numbers make more sense for a team like the Panthers, who will run regardless, but we're a pass first team. The only time we rush it like crazy is when we're ahead. Otherwise, games where our RBs get over 125 yards are very flukey.

I just checked, yes, it was 13 - 3 heading into the 4th quarter. I think we should have been running the ball more than we did and that's not just obvious hindsight smarts, you'll find I say that quite often.

I can't have it both ways. I can't say 'where the hell is our killer instinct' then flip and say we should have ran the clock out.

I would have liked to see more running plays because it seemed it was effective and I think if we ran it more later in the game it would have given us a better chance.

We passed the ball 35 times out of 45 attempts while we were ahead of the Bears. We passed the ball 41 times out of 46 times while we were ahead of the Redskins. Imagine how many more times we would of passed it if Rodgers didn't audible to a run. While I am all for coming out of the gates and passing the ball but there are only so many times you can throw it before the defense adjusts to it. It seems like that is what happened in the Lions and Redskins game. We were able to move the ball by passing it early in the game but once the defense adjusted the passing game slowed down. Eventually you're going to have incomplete passes after incomplete passes. That is a bigger hole to over overcome then a 2 or 3 yard run.
