It very well could be Barnett. Hawk and Bishop seem to have a good chemistry; they work together very well. With Hawk and Barnett I never really got the sense that they worked together, but rather that they just happened to work alongside one another. Am I way off here? I feel like Bishop has somehow made Hawk better. Forgive me, but I'm starting to see a 1-2 punch here, like Urlacher and Briggs (sorry!). Bishop and Hawk: Bash Brothers?

After 1 game? Please.
I like Bishop's hitting ability, but very weak in pass coverage and bites alot on play action fakes. Barnett started for a reason, because he was real good. Bishop has a lot more to prove before he even gets close to Barnett's caliber.

I always thought it was kind of crappy that Bishop got so much blame for that Taylor catch and run. Sure, he got beat. I guarantee you he was not the first LB to get beat by Taylor in the open field. If he makes the tackle, people would have said, "What an incredible open field tackle by Bishop!" Since he didn't, he got crucified. A little extreme.

I always suspected that if he got more playing time, he'd get in a groove, and you'd see far fewer mistakes. We're seeing Jackson starting to get into a groove too. Wish he'd get more than 10 carries a week. Dunno why they keep splitting it with Kuhn. I guess those dive plays are too important. LOL.

I think a lot of Jacksons lower amount of carries has to do with him still being the best 3rd down back on the team. He will never get the amount of carries as Grant did because Grant always got to rest on 3rd down. Brandon Jackson doesn't really get that.
