It is great timing as far as resting goes, but I do believe that a team gets into a groove, which may throw us off a little because I think we're in such a groove right now. This may be evident in the first quarter or so, but I doubt it will make a difference after that. The "resting paradox" goes into play much more in the MLB for instance, like when the team has to wait a week to play only because they destroyed their opponent in the A/NLCS. When NFL teams play only once a week, I doubt it should hurt them all that much.

All in all, I think our bye week comes at a good time because we are hurting and we need rest. BOOM.

I'm just happy that we can even be talking about Play-offs/Superbowl right now. I wasn't seeing that three weeks ago.

Tezzy, good call on Clifton too. I was not a fan of Clifton for the first four games. It is great to see our Defense solidfy and our Oline start to get it together as well.

I think the timing of this bye week is perfect. You gotta have one, so why not right in the middle of the season. It seems that the Packers often draw a mid-season bye. I don't know how they are organized or distributed, yet I've never thought them a hassle (other than not getting to watch the Pack that weekend). One other note, I think some of the articles here mentioned that the Packer's have never lost a game after the bye (I think the Oline coach was being quoted). I'm quoting a quote on that, but I think it's true.
