It seems to me Raji and Clay were being held most of the game, but what else is new?

There were a few blatant holds that we got away with too, the biggest one being on BJack's TD catch. It was an obvious one that let BJack get into the endzone. However, missed calls happen, I think the game was called fairly as neither team got a significant edge from missed/erroneous calls.

For the BJack hold, see 3:55 here: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d81d947b8/Wild-card-playoffs-Packers-vs-Eagles-highlights

One thing bothering me, can someone explain to me the punt in the 1st half that we got pushed into the ball and how the hell that works?? I'm sure it was a legitimate call, but what the hell? I surprised you don't see more teams trying to push a player into the ball in this situation. Just doesn't make sense, or is this one of those 'stupid' non-rules in the nfl?

They called it because Underwood was in the act of blocking. Had he not been engaged with another player like he SHOULD have been and trying to get away from the ball the call goes the other way.

He should have been running away from the area. Obviously he either wasn't listening to his teamates to get away or wasn't conscious of where the ball was and what was going on.

I bet you won't ever see him any where near an unfielded ball again. Of course, I doubt he makes the roster next year anyhow with all the guys that will be back from injury there won't be room.

I'm sorry, rule or no rule I say it's BS to call that if someone engages a block and then is driven 10 yards backwards into the ball. Rule needs to be changed/clarified.

I for one am glad the refs didn't toss a flag on the Vick flop after a light tap from Pickett. Talk about trying to draw a penalty.. Vick must have thought it was practice and the red jersey is still pulled over. ;)

Personally, I would have loved to see an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty called on that one. Most obvious flop I've ever seen.

Looked to me like he couldn't disengage his block if he wanted to. That's why I don't like the call or rule.

agreed that whole thing was a joke but would have been critical had it been called.

beast (21-Apr) : Sometimes looking extremely amazing, sometimes looking extremely lost
beast (21-Apr) : I haven't looked into the QBs, but some have suggested Maye has some of the most extremely inconsistent tape they've seen
beast (21-Apr) : Well it also sounds like Patriots are listening to trade offers, not that seriously considering any, but listening means they aren't locked
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Maye needs to be AFC
Mucky Tundra (21-Apr) : Not liking the idea of the Vikings getting Maye
Zero2Cool (21-Apr) : Vikings HC joked that he may or may not have sent flowers to Bob Kraft. That's where rumor came from.
beast (21-Apr) : Can't tell if this is real or BS, but some rumors about a possible Patriots/Vikings trade for #3 overall
dfosterf (21-Apr) : One playbook to my knowledge. I was shooting for facetious.
beast (20-Apr) : I'm not sure they have different playbooks for different OL positions, and Dillard run blocking is supposedly worse than his pass blocking..
