I'm more interested in the draft. We get a comp pick for Kampmann, and have two tradeable players in Samurai Ninja and the real Matty Ice. Only this year, I would like to see us move up in the draft rounds instead of back.

Every player people have their undies tied in bunch over already has a replacement in place on the current roster. Breath, and enjoy the scenery boys. What the Packers did this year couldn't be done (Diggstown).

And what I am saying is Jones played well as a rookie and had his second season cut short by injury.. btw, in which I tried to play through because his coach called him out publicly, and wound up hurting it worse and was placed on IR.

He is entering his 3rd season.. I anticipate him being given a shot to earn a spot based on the number of chances other players have been given.

That is all.. wanna wager that Jones is in TC next season? :)

I'm a fan of Brad Jones, he's incredibly smart and humble, I want him to succeed, I just don't see it happening. I don't question if he'll be in Training Camp and as I have said (thanks for reading) "Unless he comes out this offseason very strong and gives the coaches something to believe he'll actually finish a season on the field, not the bench/IR. " that he won't make the roster.

Apparently betting whether he'll be in Training Camp or not doesn't really mesh with what I'm saying at all.

I'll say it again to be more clear. He's been injured, I believe he was hurt his rookie season too. He got hurt this past season and was thrown on IR. He's not JerMichael Finley talented so I think if he doesn't come back strong and instill confidence in the coaches that he'll last a whole season, he'll be gone.

Fight.. nah.. just pointing out a reason why Jones will be retained.

Undies in a bind.. not I.. question was asked, I disagreed on a single player and provided why I thought he would be retained.

If he isn't on the team.. so be it. I just believe he will be afforded an opportunity to earn his keep.

I think there will be plenty of turnover on this roster to debate all off season long. I almost like the offseason as much as I enjoyed the playoff run..

No mention of TC.. just the off-season.. which I would equate to OTA/ off-season work.. but I guess I should interpret TC as off-season as well.. ;)

I read it... by your response guessing I didn't understand your point. First he would have to be tendered and then inked before camp.

Jones, Brad --- LB --- gone

I think Zombo and Walden > Brad Jones. Mike didn't have anything nice to say about him during the offseason or early in the season. I'd put money on it he's gone. Unless he comes out this offseason very strong and gives the coaches something to believe he'll actually finish a season on the field, not the bench/IR.

It doesn't matter how good you are if you're not on the field and I believe Brad Jones has some health issues that the Packers are not going to be soft with.

My mistake then.

When I said 'gone', I mean, won't make it on the final 53. I don't know what the point would be in saying they won't be given a chance during the offseason, that's not too wise for any team.

I think most if not all will be given a chance during the offseason. The ones I put 'gone' by, I don't feel will make it to the final roster that wins the Super Bowl next season.

More than likely my issue in not understanding the context of the query.

Like I said before, me posting less makes the site better, here's proof. I got your undies in a bunch and I'm naked!!!

This is not good, I just got overwhelmed with excitement for the upcoming season. It's only February. I'm screwed.

Good debate. I do think Jones at least gets a shot in TC, but I would like to think that Zombo and Walden both outperform him. Stronger, bigger, faster(?)...

I think Zombo will be our backup to whomever we draft in the 2nd/3rd round for OLB. Just speaking out of my tail, no information on it, just a thought right now.
