The kickoff's used to be at the 35 yard line. They moved it back because there were too many touchbacks and they felt kick returns were an exciting part of the game they wanted to bring back.

funny the last time I remember a packer going for a return was nelson doing a 99 yarder but it getting called back I think ... was the life of the packers 😉
