I think Lang because he missed last year's offseason program with a fractured wrist. He could use the time.

Next I think Neal and Burnett. They could use the film study and work on getting the defense fully understood.

Then I think the rest of last year's rookies like Bulaga, Wilson, and Shields.
Their technique can always get better working with the veterans.

I hope they are at least studying on their own.

I agree with the guys you've mentioned there, but the most obvious will be the new draft picks. Maybe that wasn't your intent with this thread, but if there is no CBA into otas/training camp the fresh rookies will suffer the most.

It will actually be a really bad situation for every team, as teams will have to count on their scouting to decide who to cut and who gets a roster spot.

Bulaga and Shields will be fine. They played an entire season with the team, and they played at a high level. I agree big time with your comments on Lang, Neal, and Burnett, though. And Wilson could certainly use some practice time.

I think the free agents will be hurt the most. We don't know which ones (if any) will end up staying with the Packers, but those who do will be coming off a period of being in limbo, so the season may get off to a weird start for them. I'm thinking of Jones, Colledge, Bigby, Barnett, etc.

If it is not the draft picks then it would be the younger players who spent most of the season on the injured list.

Well Greg C., I guess it would be tough being without a contract and not being able to negotiate one. The future is rather unkown.

Then again there is no longer any regulations applicable to agents. While players may not contact teams agents sure can.
