Oh, yes, and Dakota...

I'm betting that some private Wipe Your Ass Company, Inc. would be able to do the job for you at a fraction of the price Medicare/Medicaid cost the taxpayer.

Heck, I'm betting that NSD and zombieslayer between them can find a 20-year-old blonde who will do it for you, and for not a lot more than minimum wage.

Man I wake up to be gang banged by a a bunch of nimrods. :)

Wade, you side-stepped the question with pretty nice tangents. Yes obviously there are things that could be done more efficiently, but you didn't eliminate taxes but you got it in less then 500 words so kudos.

Formo, it's awfully nice of your government subsidized Native American friends to give you tax free auto parts, but you might want to check into your state use tax laws and fill out their voluntary remittance form, just to be compliant and honorable. I do care about your character after all.

And Zero, I figured you would be able to extract from my snarky remark that that the Postal Service has lost tremendous revenue since the invention of the internet and email. I forget that I need to say exactly what I mean in here and not leave anything for people's imaginations.

Thanks Non, sometimes I think you're the only one that would take care of me around here. You'll provide me with the pharmaceuticals I need so I don't have to be a punk like King David right?

Instead of all these tracking devices couldn't they have a license and registration official inspect the odometer at renewal time?

I'm not in favor of this whole idea, but if it does gain traction it seems that there is a better way to go about it than GPS tracking of each American.

As a son of a postman.. I can tell you the mail count has dropped for yearly for over a decade.. I will see if I can grab this mailcount reports they receive. Additionally the type of mail received has changed from less flat mail and bulk fliers to more parcel packages with size. Changes the logistics and cost greatly.

And if Dakota tries that Nimrod crap on me.. 😉

Well, I was more so just poking at DakotaT.

Email surely has dropped the amount of letters being mailed, never questioned that.

I do think internet shopping has increased the amount of larger mail being shipped and with that comes greater charges. Stamps now are something like 44 cents. I remember not too long ago when they were just over a quarter.

Mail is going to be no longer delivered on Saturday either, so that should help them retain some revenue too.
