Actually he would most likely not be starting for any team in '13 (outside of an injury replacement) so Harrell wouldn't be looking for another team and GB wouldn't be back in the mix looking for a backup for Aaron Rodgers for a few years.

I am very confused here too. Flynn is a FA in 2012. Maybe he meant to say 2011, as in, he wouldn't have time to become a starter this year?

edit: NM, beat me to it.

I will repeat my thoughts here.. if the Packers get a nice offer for Flynn this season, I think he will be dealt and we move forward with Harrell as the only backup provided he continues to show a healthy grasp of the offense.. probably a 3rd QB on the PS.

I thought the same during the Arizona game as Greg.. Harrell has more on his throws than Flynn.. not that Flynn can't make all the throws.. but the trajectory is different. Harrell can flatten it out a bit more than Flynn.

IMO.. Flynn looks very solid for a team in need.. I am thinking Seattle might be a good landing spot for Flynn.. similar QB to Hasslebeck in terms of what he can and can't do.. would offer some continuity out there.

How cool would it be to rent out your basement to a Packer? Hey landlord, James Jones is coming over is that okay?

Back to reality, we all know Ted plans 2-3 years in advance. Graham will make the team this year because we all know Matt Flynn will be gone this offseason to a QB needy team and we need a back up for next year. If we cut Graham, there is little doubt another NFC North team will gobble him up for back up and for Packer knowledge before we can sign him to the PS (if he's even eligible again).

This is from last year. But I thought I would track it back down. Someone a whole lot smarter than me will have to change the link.
