No, I am not going to argue with a cartoon today.

Hehe. Okay.

It takes two to trade.

Someone can "demand" anything they want. But they "get" what they demand only if someone agrees to give it to them.

The complaint of this cartoon character (I can never remember who is Calvin and who is Hobbes) is like the guy who complains of getting the clap from a cut-rate prostitute. He needs to look in the mirror.

How's that?

(of course it'll probably get DakotaT all riled up.) [grin1]

Calvin is the boy. Hobbes the cat.
Obviously there are a great many flaws in Calvin's logic. Thus the cartoon. This is not meant to be a Harvard Business dissertation. (Not even Kellogg Business either.)

Edit- Sometimes I love my job.

I effin' hate Doonesbury. Read it regularly and you might as well just visit the Trepanning Institute. [grin1]

Doonesbury side note-
One of my favorites was when Roland Hedley was trying to get the inside scoop of what was going on at the Walden Pond commune. One day he was sitting with Mike by the pond. Roland said that while talking to Zonker, Zonker let it slip that the members of commune were having casual sex. (Later revealed as a fabrication for Roland's benefit.) Roland then asked Mike what Zonker meant. Mike said, "Blue jeans optional." I still laugh at that line.
