I agree with whoever said "catch the freaking ball". If they need it handed to them they need to play HB. To me catching is the most important trait of a receiver. I'd sooner haver a receiver that may not get open as much but catches everything thrown to him than one that continuely drops passes.

Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

With all these drops it makes me wonder if there's something about the way Aaron throws the ball. Is he throwing it too hard? People always said it took guys a year or so to get used to how hard Favre threw.

I knew a dude in baseball who threw a weird changeup. It's like the ball would sink, then come back upward at you. I don't know if this is possible in football, but could there be some weird thing about Arodge's throwing motion that makes the ball seem like it's getting to you all of a sudden?

If it was just one guy dropping passes it wouldn't seem so odd.

Applaud for the 60s reference. I heard Max McGee was badly hungover when he put up that fantastic performance (138 yards, 2 TDs) in SB I. He didn't even think he'd play that game so he went out and got wasted the night before.

Is that true or just a legend?

Being a little drunk probably made McGee More relaxed.

I think that Finley's problem last year was that he was trying too hard. He was grabbing at the ball instead of letting the ball come to his hands. He was putting a lot of pressure on himself. Making his normally very soft hands ridged.

If he had a drink or two, maybe he would have been more relaxed too.

Next game, maybe someone should send him a beer.

I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.
