I hate to see GB take a C in the 1st round. It makes no sense when they need help on the DL as well and there are quality players available later in the draft.

The offense will survive and even prosper with EDS as the C in 2013. They can afford to wait not only for the later rounds of the draft, they can afford to wait until 2014 to pick a C. But picking up a replacement for an aging Pickett and to add depth on the DL is a must. If they get a guy who can bring pressure as a DLman it instantly makes the whole defense better and more productive.

Looked really good at the combine and was one of the guys I certainly had an interest in. I guess the question is whether his workouts raised his stock to make him a 1st rounder. If so I don't think we can do that. He was a guy I though might be somebody to consider in the 2nd Round if he was there or a trade up in the 2nd.

Yeah somewhere on this board I think I said I wouldn't mind him in the 3rd round (maybe 2nd I don't remember). I know he really did will at the combine. Most sites I looked at had him going in 3-4th rounds. I don't know if that was before or after the workout.
