86 total yards ??? You guys are kidding right? 93.5 yards per game ranked 23 rd in the NFL with 3 rushing Touchdowns ..2 on QB sneaks by Rodgers so through 5 games one count them one real rushing touchdown..yeah are running game is on track....NOT !
If your a team preparing against us you game plan to stop Aaron Rodgers and our passing game...heck 93 YPG and 1 TD isn't scaring anyone.

but overall I think Rodgers is playing about as well as Favre would be playing under these circumstances.

The chemistry he had with Driver aswell, just getting it to him whenever he's in trouble.

I think Rodgers will get this eventually. If he keeps going like this, he might get a bond with Jennings like Favre had with Driver. And the vision will come with experience aswell.

No disrespect intended, but no shit. Favre = Future HOF, Rodgers = hasn't even been 'the guy' for a whole season.

Of course Brett would have read the blitz's better because he's seen IT ALL. Rodgers ... he hasn't yet.

I don't get these comparisons at all.

It's both and because the Packers had injuries and had to put Moll in, and because the run game has looked horrible for some games.

Oddly enough Rodgers is 2nd in the league in sacks. Oddly enough Mr. Favre leads the way lol

I get your point. I was just pointing out to Greg that I thought they wouldn't have played the same in this position. That Favre would have played better.

I get that it's pretty obvious and, obviously, you can't compare the two at this point in their careers, if you ever can.

During the entire 2007-08 season, Brett Favre was sacked a total of 15 times.

Through four games this season, Aaron Rodgers has been sacked 11 times.

He's on pace to be sacked 44 times.

Do you think it is primarily the poor play of our pathetic offensive line or a matter of Aaron Rodgers holding on to the ball to long?

It's probably a little of both, but I feel like a lot of the time, Aaron Rodgers holds on to the ball to long. Mike McCarthy needs to drill it in his head that its okay to throw the ball away if no ones open. Aaron Rodgers is a great (yeah I said it) QB, but this seems to be his only major flaw.

All I know is that if Aaron Rodgers keeps getting hit like this, the chances him starting 16 games for us are going to be very slim.

Overall, probably a combination. For example, at the end of the 2nd half on the sack to make it a longer FG, I thought, not that held on it too long but instead that he should have left the pocket when he sensed there was pressure around him. The o-line held off the surge but then Rodgers just stood in one spot. Then there are other plays where the O-line looks like they are not even trying.

Brett played for a long time and was phenomal at picking up the blitz reads and where they were coming from.

Rodgers isn't at that level yet.

Favre made the offensive line look better than what they really are.

However, they did handle the Vikings defensive line kind of good. We're talking 3 Pro Bowl defensive lineman too. So I think at times, yes the line has been bad, but Rodgers does hold onto the ball too long at time. He doesn't do it all the time which is good, but he does it a couple of times a game. He got away with it against the Lions, but these past three weeks, he's paid for it.

It starts with the OL 1st then a poor running game 2nd followed by Rodgers holding the ball too long 3rd.
