We have the wrong GM for this kind of situation unfortunately.

Obviously it sucks to lose 1500 yards and 90 some catches, and it doesn't help the team. However, an NFL MVP, Cobb isn't a slouch, and there is a lot of very intriguing, albeit unproven, talent on the roster. This isn't a season-ender for the Packers.

Mike was very respectful. You can tell how much Jordy means to this team not just as a player but a person. If he is out, you know he'll be a great leader.

We know how one player feels about the pre-season.

Wow! Aaron is PISSED. Just pissed about that injury. How many times is he going to rip these MEANINGLESS games? He even ripped the first series of offense as meaningless. Jordy is clearly done, although, Mike McCarthy seemed to indicate he's not convinced that's the case...could be denial. Feel for MM...he looks shell shocked. Tough trip back home after loss of his brother and then has to talk about this huge loss to his football team.

Watching Aaron Rodgers, he looks like a man who just put his trusty dog down. And it's pretty clear he doesn't think exhibition season has much value when he said "not much" when asked how much time he needs to get into regular season form.

I also believe this is quite telling.

I love how coach spoke on the family aspect of the team. I believe this to be a galvanizing force, and it is what the players need to hear. Life is hard for all of us, but when you have family, you have support and strength outside of yourself.

Part of what Aaron said was really interesting...he was asked how he felt about WR depth? A: We'll see...we're still looking to find who the impact players are going to be. He didn't mention RC18, Davante or anyone. Feel like he was trying to motivate his guys to try and be that guy because he knows what a gaping hole Jordy is leaving in our O. He wants someone to be him and knows that ain't likely to happen so he's doing all he can.

Our team won the SB in 2010 after a tough year of injuries. We thought we were going to win it and then Jermichael went down and we didn't think we were anymore. We won that sucker with 15 guys on IR.

Curious to see what this does to this team and who, if anyone, really picks up some of that slack. A stupid comment but it really vexes me for FF. Where are the numbers coming from this year? Will RC18 be doubled reducing his numbers, or will they go up without Jordy? Lacy is the guy I think can really help especially in passing game. I'm telling you...Eddie Lacy has a real shot to win NFL MVP, especially now.

That said. Lacy is a stud. We have an MVP QB. We have good depth with very intriguing youth at WR, along with two returners that Aaron Rodgers himself has spoken very highly of. I'm optimistic about RR's receiving abilities at TE. There is only 1 football to go around.

Again, this is a huge kick to the nether regions, that said, there is still a lot of talent to spread the ball if the team can embrace the challenge as they did in 2010.
