Well I was wrong. I don't mind saying so. That said NYG shit on themselves to use the nerdman analysis. Little Manning missed wide open receivers. The receivers dropped a bunch of passes. GB got lucky to be sure. Maybe it was the cold. Maybe it was the NYG WRs doing their version of the Minn love boat.

Whatever it was I don't care. Having Rodgers-Cromartie leave with an injury was huge. GB had an answer for Nelson. The Giants didn't have an answer for DRC.

Half-full

Micah Hyde's Punt Returns. Their punter was shit all game and Hyde made them pay for it. Everything was a catchable line drive. Several really nice returns to give us great field position.

Dropping 38 points on the number two scoring defense in the NFL. No one had even hit 30 on New York all season and 9 times they had allowed fewer than 20 points. That was fun.

Half-empty

Blown deep coverages. We got beat deep early and often. Beckham and Shepherd did their best to ensure those blown coverages didn't hurt us. We got lucky on that front.

We did have some blown coverages and they dropped a few but our guys actually broke up a lot of passes it looked like. I don't know if there is an official count anywhere but let's give them some credit.

Jake Ryan and Mike Daniels were beasts tonight. I think Daniels almost took a couple of their handoffs. Peppers was big, he's playing like he wants a ring. Matthews made one great play awesome effort but was a complete no show the rest of the game getting plastered by a bad LT. I don't think he even sniffed Eli once outside that 1 play.

Cobb a no show all year mostly shows up BIG tonight, hopefully it was an injury issue. Davante's terrible year was officially an injury problem. He's a good player even though he dropped 5 or 6 TDs this year. We still need someone who can win deep against man coverage but davante is a good piece to a wr group.

This is unofficial. I think Hyde had more than 1 and some other players knocked some balls away.

That play by Matthews, it WAS a fumble, not a forward pass. The ball was knocked out of Manning's hand BEFORE his hand was moving forward. His hand pushed the ball forward, but it he didn't have control of the ball. Thus, a fumble.

Nelson getting hurt....if he can't play, that will hurt a lot. The guy that hit him should have been flagged.

If they had a QB that could of hit the open WRs deep, then they might of had 28 points...

We'll need all hands on deck and very limited mistakes to beat the Cowboys.
