Kevin King looks like to start at CB for Packers

The Packers chose King out of Washington in the second round of the draft. PFF looks at the value he should add.

When you have a first name of awesomeness as Kevin King does, it's easy to name him starter and just get the formalities out of the way.

They probably should have a few weeks of training camp before anointing KK as the starter. He may well EARN the job but it isn't his yet. Not simply based on what he did in college.

While I agree with you I don't think it is at all that far out of line to anoint him as a starter. If you look at what his competition did in the NFL last year what King did in college may have been the more impressive feat.

I don't like his concussion history, and his measurables remind me of Aaron Rouse. But I think he's a little more fluid.

I think he can get it done, but as with these other positions, he needs to earn it. We've got guys.
