Hi. Positive thread here. Can we talk a little bit about mikes play calling last week? That TD to Ty Montgomery WA a thing of beauty. Also, he called a double reverse. We failed to execute, but HE FUCKING CALLED IT!

Ps Aaron Jones started too. We saw progress from Mike this week.

Thank you, finally!

I liked the play calling overall. I’d like to get a lead so that we can feed the rock to Aaron Jones a little more. I think he’s the real deal.

We don't need a lead to feed AJ. He is running off big enough chunks that it wouldn't matter.

Yes I'll certainly give credit to Mike McCarthy for trying to be more creative.

That being said, I got to ask, in the short redzone with rookie WRs that clearly aren't quite on the same page as Rodgers why not put Graham out at WR? ... I mean, I would think he should be able to simply post up, like he's very well known to do. That I didn't quite understand... they got vet TEs that can fill in.

Also since they covered that diamond package so horribly the first time (two DBs covering four targets with a LB or two rushing over at the last second), I'm surprised we didn't see it again, just to see if they continued to handle it so poorly.

I'd like to see us throw that package out there more often as well. If they cover it poorly again, throw it. If they send 4 guys over there to cover it, run the ball. Seems like one of those formations that is just straight up going to be successful no matter what.

I would rather see us master the basic play calling before we try to get too creative. We can't even walk out of the gate, why even try to sprint?

It only took him 11 years to call one! Kudos to our offensive genius of a coach!

In addition, running carefully chosen variations on what appears to be one of those core plays can yield good results if they are called at just the right time.

The NE Patriots overall key to winning (beyond Tom Brady) is bigger, stronger, larger, meaner players on the O and D lines. Look at how much better the Bears Defense got with the addition of K.Mack.Who is GB's 6 ft. 8 in. / 380 lb. Right Offensive Tackle? The Rams may just have the best O-line right now and they are destroying everyone they play.
