I hope someone hires him, don't want to see him as our d/c.

I'd feel bad for him if he went to Oakland though, it's like a coaching carrousel there.

The Rams, however, have an ok team in place if they add just some compartments in the off-season. I'd like to see if he's really up to the job.

I can't remember where (PFT?) but it was said that Winston Moss told the St. Louis Rams he is not ready to be a Head Coach. I'm not sure if it was he is not ready to be THERE Head Coach, or a Head Coach in general. Yes, there is a difference.

You mean this quote out of the article posted above...

"I talked to the people at the Rams," the NFL club source said. "Even Winston admitted he wasn't ready to be a head coach. They started asking him questions about defense and he wasn't very good with it. He said, 'I think I'd just hire coordinators. I'd be the motivator.' "

LOL.. I know.. just a little humor for the day.. nothing more but to actually highlight the quote per source.

Upon several different little tests.. quite the number of posters don't read the entire thread or posts.

I think Wintson Moss might be right when he says he isn't ready for a Head Coach position yet. I think some people just have 'it' and some people need to be groomed into it. I'd prefer someone who has ran an entire offense or defense as a potential head coach candidate.

Depending on who hire as DC it will be interesting to see what happens with Moss.

The article seems to indicate that Moss is a greater motivator than an actual coach.

Which is not what we need. Is Moss even worth the higher than just position coach salary he's getting? While being good, the fact that his name hasn't come up in serious talks as DC is telling too IMO.

I wonder what Mike McCarthy seems in Moss.

I do not know enough about Moss to articulate about this in a fair and honest way.

However.... This brings up the age old question.

What do you get when you motivate an idiot?

Well since it's obvious that he's not getting the Rams' job, then I'd say that we're keeping Moss for SOMETHING because he still has a job.
