I really thought that Grossman would make it in the league. Such a shame that he makes all these mental mistakes, he obviously has the physical ability.

I think we'll see a lot of him there, Schaub has missed 10 games over the last two season (5 each). Now when he just throws it deep, at least he'll have Johnson over there to get the ball.

good back up for shaub. i like shaub a lot, and the texans have been pretty damn decent in a division that is just unholy with difficulty...

I guess Rodgers and Stafford are on their way as well if you consider a Pro bowl Qb a bad one.

You know what sucks? My father, a Bears fan, has season tickets. He hates Grossman even more than I do. I just lost a lot of money. He lost money and pride on that SB loss because of Wrecks.

I wonder if he's going to root against the Texans now. I'll have to ask him.

Most Bears fans hate Rex, he helped contribute to them missing out on a tenth title they probably should've won. Packers fans seem to love him though, hmmmmmm. Your dad's a Bears fan what's that like on Sundays at his house? Sounds like fun.

I think with better offensive coaching he could have done better, and still has a chance to redeem himself.

Someone like Holmgren would've put too much terror in him to keep up with his standard fumble/backpedal/turn around and run the wrong way/fire a bomb off your back foot while retreating nonsense. Either he is completely unteachable or the Bears offensive coaching staff failed. I lean towards the second option there because the Bears offensive coaching is not good generally and they coddled Grossman for years. He had nothing to fear his first 4 seasons, Lovie made that obvious to all.

I'm putting his shortcomings on him and only him. How hard is it to take a fricken snap w/o fumbling it. I know they say he has small hands but geez. Maybe being injured for his first 3 seasons had something to do with it...I don't know though. His deep ball to Andre Johnson could be a beautiful thing though.
