The Packers know what they're going to get from Bush (and knew what they were getting from Rouse). At least Martin provides some intrigue, by all accounts he was having a strong training camp with the Ravens at safety.

I still can't understand why the Packers keep Bush on the roster. Last year, despite all the criticism, I could see a place for Bush he was a good special teams player with a small contract. Now he's a special teamer (and a safety you desperately want to avoid putting on the field) with a large contract.

Lets hope Martin has absorbed some of that big play abillity from Mr. Reed while in Baltimore.

Seeing Rouse cut was a bit of a shocker (though I was never a fan of the pick) but hopefully that means that Martin has showed enough promise to back up the decision.

On one hand I'm glad its not Bush back there, and especially glad its not Rouse. But on the other I've never actually seen this guy play.

Remember when Moll was traded for Martin. Both teams' fans seemed to have thought they got extraordinary value for a player who could have just as easily been cut.

I rewatched a few of the big plays that cinci made last week; and I saw rouse either standing missing his guy or not making the play that should of been made. Besides his flubs last season its no wonder he got cut.

Im looking forward to seeing a new guy in the mix up. Obviously this is martins chance and he knows it. We got bush and this new guy ready to start in the coming weeks so if martin wants to make it in this game he knows he needs to step in (which I hope he does).
