Good. You deserve it. I hope that Ahold will take all your money. Just like McDonalds, Burger King and Kentucky do over here.

Random sunday : I'm watching the game, I get some McDonalds commercial. $3,- or something for an entire CBO menu. I turn my head to the right, towards my TV. I watch a McDonalds commercial on that one. Entire CBO Menu, 5,50-.

That's 3,50 I'm spending extra (0,66$ = 1,-). Same goes for those other fast food restaurants.

If you don't like it, shop at Wallmart.

I have a thing against Wal-Mart. I don't like how they operate, I think they cost this economy more than they contribute, etc. The reason my grocery bill looks so high is because my mother-in-law uses one of our bonus cards when she shops, so that household's shopping shows up in my history also.

My father-in-law is one of those people that refuses to give out his personal information, so my wife gave them one of our cards to shop with. They get the discounts on the stuff they buy, and we get the accumulated "points" for extra coupons, cheap gasoline, etc.

According to figures released by the Wisconsin legislature, the number-one beneficiary of food stamps and other welfare services in Wisconsin is none other than Wal-Mart. That corporation has made the strategic choice to pay their employees just enough to keep them on those programs, such that Wal-Mart is literally using the State of Wisconsin to pay fringe benefits to Wal-Mart's employees. The state is considering litigation to correct this condition.

Of course, if Wal-Mart were forced to pay its employees enough to get them off food stamps, that would simply raise prices for the rest of us, which would put us all farther behind again.

Takeaway message: Don't shop Wal-Mart.

Or Sam's Club.

Yeah, I hate Wally's World.. Never do I go there unless I absolutely have too (sometimes they are the only store to get a certain product in certain small towns, or my parents get me damn gift cards there for Christmas/birthday gifts).

I shop Target.

Isn't Target a sub-thingy of Walmart? Or am I way off track here?

I don't care whether you shop at Walmart, Target, Aldi or whatever. I'm just happy that we're getting some vindication. Screwing you back over there.

I shop at WalMart.

And, ironically, one of the reasons I do so is that it's the only place within 50 miles where I can get anything particularly "interesting" food-wise.

And despite being a major foodie (and having to buy much of the really cool and interesting stuff online), I'd have to double/triple my household to spend 37K a year on food.

Sorry, foster, on this one I'm scum. I like what WalMart brings to my table. 🙂
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

No, Target actually has decent stuff. They're completely separate companies. Target's Up & Up brand too is mostly made in America. Most of the crap at Wal-Mart is made in China.

Plus fashion-wise, you'll see hot babes wearing Target clothes. You very rarely see babes wearing Wal-Mart clothes.

Speaking of screwing us, got kind of worried there. I'm a shareholder in your ING and it was taken off the board the other day. Found out later, it was just a glitch. Yikes!

Lol. Haven't those shares been plummeting for quite a while? They needed 10 billion from the Dutch government to not go bankrupt.

Anyway, guess I was wrong with the target stuff. Still doesn't make my point any less valid. You deserve this. :microwave:
