Quote:In an interview to air Sunday on the NFL Network, New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre praised Aaron Rodgers' debut performance
"He played extremely well," Favre said about Rodgers. "He played well under a lot of pressure, but I'm not surprised by it. . . . He's got tremendous talent. He watched and learned from me, and that's good and bad."
NFL Network analyst Steve Mariucci interviewed Favre and Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum.
Mariucci asked Tannenbaum how he pitched his organization to Favre.
"We have a lot of good people here," Tannenbaum said he told Favre. "We have a good football team . . . .You'll fit in really well and you'll be hunting in 15 minutes."
The interview is to air at 9 a.m. on the NFL Network show "NFL GameDay Morning." I'm not sure where to post this. Packers, Brett? EEK! So, we'll post it here and see what happens. |

"Favre declines to talk about successor's success!" and whatnot. Despite what it looks like, he knows what he's doing with the media. |

Yah... Yah... Yah. Good Speach.
Even Jeffery Dahmer had good things to say about the people he worked with in Wisconsin.

What Brett said was nice, I would not have expected less. What would have been really classy is if he would have called, emailed, etc. Aaron personally to congratulate him. Who knows, maybe Brett did. |

Brett showed what a classy guy he is. He holds no grudges and after a few successful seasons in new York, will retire a Packer. |
