Report: L.T. is poised to become a J-E-T

With free-agent running back LaDainian Tomlinson pondering his options after meeting with the Vikings and the Jets last week, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the signs a pointing to L.T. heading to New York.

Acee, who stops short of reporting that it definitely will happen, cites three sources who believe it will. One source said that it's a "done deal."

Another source told Acee that a decision has not officially been made.

Even though I don't really like the Jets, I hope he signs for them mainly because I don't want him to sign with the Vikes, so it doesn't hamper my packer fanhood.

Why would that affect your Packer fan hood?

I like a couple of Viking player of today and gone by... that doesn't change the fact that overall I root against them heavily. lol.

I will be clapping for John Randle as he accepts his rightful position into the Hall of Fame. And I was pissed every time he sacked a Packer QB. But I still respected how that guy played the game and the intensity he brought to it.

Being he went undrafted and fought his way to becoming one of the best didn't hurt either.

Long story short.. wherever LT lands.. you still can be a fan of the player and remain loyal to the Packers.

And if one of your favorite players proves he stayed "one year too long", who better to do it to than the Vikings. 🙂

Filed to ESPN: it's official. LaDainian Tomlinson is a Jet. He reached agreement on a two-year contract. Done.

you have to remember he will probably split carries with greene in new york, i believe that would be the deciding factor.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I don't know why he took the Jets over the Vikes. Hopefully when he gives his b.s. Jets have a great chance for a Super Bowl yada yada speech he will say something that will piss the Vikings fans off.
