Downhill run stopper. It seems like we've had some interesting packages near the goal line. Perhaps we'll see him down there. He has incredible potential and I actually like the move to cut White to sign him to the roster.

Wow. He actually seems a lot smarter and humble then I imagined and has a lot of respect for this organization.

I like him.

I remember when I wanted us to keep 8 LBs (including Hodge and Lansanah) near the final cuts. I just hoped they'd pick him up for their PS. He's a bit raw, but got a ton of potential.

I found this interesting.

Apparently Miami called him Monday at 9:30 PM wanting an answer right away and wanted him in their camp ASAP. He said he needed to talk to the Packers first. They said that he could tell them what happened once he got to Miami, he declined that.

He spoke with the Packers and well you know the rest. I personally, I like that kind of loyalty right there and aside from being a Packer, I am pulling for him because of this as well.

Yeah... from this morning's JSO:

The Miami Dolphins put linebacker Danny Lansanah in a tough spot by calling him at 11 p.m. Monday and asking him to join their 53-man roster.

They had a 6 a.m. flight set up for him the next day and were hoping he'd take the offer before having a chance to consult with the Packers. As a practice squad player, Lansanah was free to accept an active roster spot anywhere else, but he told the Dolphins he owed it to the Packers to see if they were interested in signing him first.

"I told them if they wanted me that bad they could wait it out," Lansanah said.

After informing the Packers of Miami's interest, general manager Ted Thompson offered Lansanah a promotion to the 53-man roster. It meant cutting veteran linebacker Tracy White, but the Packers are very high on Lansanah, an undrafted rookie who had a solid training camp.

"He was kind of like my mentor coming in," Lansanah said of White. "He said that I was like him coming in, a quiet guy who didn't say much and just worked hard on the field. So it was real tough."

Lansanah is expected to be active Sunday. He was replaced on the practice squad by defensive end Rudolph Hardie, a 6-foot-2, 269-pound rookie from Howard who spent training camp with the Detroit Lions before being released in the final roster cut.

It's refreshing to see some loyalty in today's NFL. I think I'll drink heavily to the kid's good fortune...

That kind of loyalty, (from a practice squad player no less!) is amazing in today's NFL. You just don't tend to see things like that.

Hopefully, he's got the skills to keep a spot on the team

Kid can flat out play ball... I am dually impressed with his sense of loyalty.. I think I may have found a new player to rout for on a weekly basis.

Knock'em dead kid.

Zero2Cool (8h) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (18h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (18h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (18h) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (18h) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (19h) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in

beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money

dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
