04:00 Tomorrow morning I am heading into the bush in Northern British Columbia.

Get flown into a small lake, dropped off and then it is just me for 5 days. No cabin, no other people, just me, a fly rod, a ten foot Zodiac, a shot gun, an axe, some bear bangers, buck knife, axe, tarp, rope and tent.

Life does not get better than those 5 days. I wanted to go a while back but needed to stay close to doctors at the time.

I am going to play Montana Bob for a while.

Be well Packer Fans... I hope by the time I get back there will be some shocking news about a big move from Ted. If there is one out there.

Considering Buck is a specific brand of knife (and a very fine one at that), something tells me RP wasn't referring to a KA-BAR. But I could be wrong.

My first tour in Iraq, I traded a KA-BAR for a British-army-issue machete with a British private who was about to return home. I mailed it home as a present to my wife, who has a "thing" for knives.
