http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/07/05/lambeau-field-expansion-could-create-wall-of-sound/

Packers CEO Mark Murphy may want to "enhance" Lambeau Field just like he wants to "enhance" the NFL regular season -- by making it larger.

Adding as many as 8,000 seats to the 72,928-seat stadium is one of the many ideas being tossed around by the organization, according to the Business Journal of Milwaukee. If this change came to pass, the team could enclose the south end of the stadium, creating a "wall of sound." (The team has no solution for the "clapping gloves make no sound" dilemma.)

"We are looking at a number of options," said Murphy.

We mentioned in May the team was looking for fan input about possibly growing the stadium; these new details give us an idea what the Packers have in mind.

Just spent a happy 5 minutes reading all the comments about the packer fans etc etc. Very amusing the mudslinging going on.

Loads of vikings saying how packers fans keep going on and on about championships and history, stating it's all in the past stop going on about the 60's.

You gotta love a viking fan!!

They have to tell us to stop going on about history and champioships coz they've got neither.

8,000 more Packer fans in Lambeau..................could you imagine the noise!!!!!!!!
Formed Merseyside Nighthawks. British Champions 1992. Packer fan for 32 years

It looks like another 8,000 would put us behind Washington and NY (and Dallas, including the standing room only).

Hopefully this is all Packer cash since all the money will be staying within the franchise.

Most Queen fans, not all, are obnoxious and ignorant, that's no way to go through life. Most Goofer fans are the same way. Must be something in the water. ::twisted:
