Remember last year when I wrote about our trip to Glacier National Park? Well, we went back this year and spent 3 nights there in cabins at Lake McDonald Lodge. Lots of funny things happened, but here is one thing that shows that the world really has no boundaries.

We got to Glacier about 6:30 pm Friday evening and checked in to our cabins. We had 8 of us this year........my oldest daughter and her husband (Jerry), our oldest granddaughter (Amanda) who just graduated from Washington State U; her roommate and boss at a veterinary research lab in Pullman, WA, (Michelle); our son (Bobby); Alek, our grandson from New Mexico; and Donna and Bob (the old farts).

In the cabin next to us was a couple and their two teenage kids. We learned that they were from the Czech Republic and visiting the U.S this summer. He is a professor of some kind in science and is a visiting professor at Gonzaga U this summer. About 9:00 pm that night we brought out our portable fire pit and started a fire on the cement patio in front of our cabin. We were going to make s'mores, have some wine and just enjoy looking at Lake McDonald, the mountains, and the sunset.

This Czech family was out and we invited them over. It didn't take but two seconds and our grandson, Alek, notices the Czech couples daughter and his eyes go upwards towards the heavens.........."thank you god" kind of look. She is 17, (he's 18) and a dead ringer for a younger Anna Trebunskaya from Dancing With the Stars. (the flaming redhead)

The son of this couple is 13 and never had s'mores. For that matter, none of them had. We proceeded to show them how to make them and they had a blast. The son had a hard time understanding that you do NOT put flaming marshmallows in your mouth, but other than that it was fun. Even with the language barrier we had a great time and made new friends.

In the meantime our grandson has made all the right moves and he and Sonjia are taking a walk along the lake path. Jerry and I decide it's time to intervene, so we take the high road path above them, fully armed with our water gun cannons. We intercept them about 400 yards down the lake path, jump out of the brush, and proceed to scare the crap out of them and initiate Sonjia into the American way of life and fun with an all out water assault. Only problem is, Sonjia decides to take one of us out, and seeing as I'm much smaller than Jerry, guess who gets thrown into Lake McDonald? Jees, seems like I was in a lake just a few weeks ago!

Man, that girl was strong. But....she got soaked to. When she threw me off the edge I grabbed her arm and she went with me into the water. We got back to the cabins and the warmth of the fire and spent the next 3 hours talking, laughing, and having a good time with this family.

As for my grandson....he has her name, address, e-mail, picture, birthday, etc.

Next story.......showing Michelle the "Going To The Sun Road."

I have added another entry to my bucket list... spend a weekend adventure with Bob and family.. sounds like a blast of humor.

It was fun Pack93z. We spent all day Saturday and Sunday and Monday until noon in Glacier Park having fun, pulling pranks on tourists, and generally making sure none of them would ever come back.

Formo........believe me, she was no squirrel!

beast (7h) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (7h) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (14h) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (15h) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (16h) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (16h) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (16h) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (16h) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (16h) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (18h) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request

Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : database is on new host, eventually website will follow
Mucky Tundra (30-Jul) : Zero, regarding Ewers, you are correct.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Sadly, this might be our life for awhile. I could put it on another host, but seems it was slower, although more stable

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)

dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂

Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : Golden with two TDs in red zone drills today
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : @JacobMorley Shoutout to Quinn Ewers for allowing Matthew Golden to be available when Green Bay picked.

Zero2Cool (27-Jul) : There's a toggle for light/dark theme. Super easy.
dfosterf (27-Jul) : The white background beta was hard to read, especially the quotes
dfosterf (27-Jul) : Hopefully the color scheme remains the same

dfosterf (27-Jul) : Beer brat and ticket is where the money comes from
dfosterf (27-Jul) : The 40th is Titletown Tech itself. This is a pet project of both Ed Policy and Mark Murphy
