Before last weekend the Packers were leading the division and were in playoff position 4 in the playoffs.

The Bears won a conference and division game so now the NFC North tie breakers are:

W/L tied

Head to Head not played

Divisional record tied

Conference record tied

Strength of Victory: Bears .357 Packers .274

Bears win the tie breaker.

Next would be Strength of Schedule: Bears .503 Packers .435

Then Net points: Bears 46 Packers 35

Net Conference points: Bears 30 Packers 15

finally Net Touchdowns: Bears 7 Packers 6

The game against Chicago in 4 weeks is very important. It could be the ?December game will be more important.

Instead of being in playoff position 4, leading the division, the Packers are now 9th in the NFC behind Giants, Bucaneers, Cardinals, Bears, Redskins, Panthers, Falcons, Cowboys and then the Packers, Vikings, Saints, Eagles, Rams, 49'ers, Seahawks, and Lions.

Haha. Good stats that sound bad. It is just weird seeing as though we both beat the Colts and lost to the Falcons. We also beat the Lions and Vikings and beat them better and gave up less points to the Vikings.

Okay so I just don't relate to this. All I can think about is how important beating the Bears is, and that is not regarding any stats, it is about REVENGE!

I saw this coming before the game. The only way for the Packers to keep the lead was beat the Colts and the Vikings to beat the Bears.

Next week the NFC North has a bye (other than the Lions) and the week after that it's going to be hards to catch up because the Bears face the currently winless Lions and the Packers face the unbeaten Titans.

But the week after that the Bears get the Titans and the Packers get the Vikings.

Is it just me or does somebody else not like playing the Vikings twice before playing the Bears once? It just seems really odd to me.

And then the Packers and Bears play.

So it's

Packers
Bye
Titans
Vikings
Bears

Bears
Bye
Lions
Titans
Packers

So unless the Packers beat the Titans and the Bears lose to the Titans, I'm thinking the Bears will go into the Packers/Bears game as the #1 in the NFC North.

So I'm assuming some of you are worried about Chicago this year?

I think the Chicago games are ALWAYS must win. You don't want to lose to any of your conference rivals. The Cardinals will slip up, the Boy's are gonna go through a little funk. So as far as our playoff positioning, its whatever right now.

The season is still young, and we have very strong chances if we play like we did against Indy.

Well I wouldn't say worried because as you said the season is young, but the Bears are ahead of the Packers right now.

Bears look tough. If the Packers want to win the division, they're going to have to take it. It most certainly will not be given to them.

Cali... Thanks for pointing out the negatives of a good win. (SMILE)

Thanks so much.

GOOD STATS!

GOOD STUFF!

We also have to figure in.... Sooner or later a plane is going to crash with an NFL Team on it. I mean it has to happen sooner or later.. Everyone on the team will be killed.

How will that effect the play off picture if it happens this year?

Wins? Losses? Points?.... Who's plane is going down?

I am just joshing... I loved your post. INTERESTING STUFF.

Amazing actually.
