If it gets the crowd more into it and louder, I'm ALL about it. The louder the better.

Same thing applies if it pumps up our team as well. Whatever it takes. That's all I care about, playing with energy, intensity, and a LOUD crowd.

Been there many times.
The crowd is all ready cheering for the play. I don't see (hear) the crowd getting louder because of any post play antics.

Eh, I can't completely agree with that. I've been going to Broncos, Panther, and NC State and Clemson games for years and for the last 4 years to Packer games and some of the crowd interaction certainly works. A lot of it is probably just the play itself but the "cheer" certainly doesn't take anything away from it as long as it's good natured and timed correctly.

I have no problem with it and as others have said, even if one does, it's not going to matter to the players. They are going to do what works for them and aren't thinking about the group of people that may not like it. Good for them. Something to discuss and share opinions about I guess, but nothing's going to change.

I don't get much of this. We're not one of those teams that gets carried away with this stuff.

A belt here.

A CM3 Roar there.

A Driver point over there.

At the Montana- Idaho State game here in Missoula this afternoon, Montana running back Chase Reynolds set the school record for rushing touchdowns with 54. Old record 53 held by Lex Hilliard of the Miami Dolphins.

When he scored the entire team came on to the field, did a group Grizzly Bear hug and all fell over backwards. This was planned and accepted by the coaches. Of course the ref tossed the flag and gave Montana a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty for "excessive celebration." The funny thing was that just before he went "on air" to call the penalty his mic WAS on and everyone could hear him say to the Griz players: "I really hate to do this, but that was just a bit excessive."

Just shows that the refs have to call 'em by the rules, but can still smile and have fun.

good story montana...you have to respect that the refs have a job to do, but good to see they have a heart too.

Now I can accept something like that. A once in a lifetime achievement. Something the team will never try and do again. Not just for a sack, 1st down or even a td.

Unless you have a pair of jittery tackles who commit three consecutive penalties on the goal line.

Buckley was the best.

He may have developed with other teams but I don't remember him being very good at anything but talk while he was with the Packers. I did find this clip of him as a Packer and it seemed to fit the theme of the thread. Seems he is celebrating already on the 40 yd line. Bit excessive to me. Reminds me of the guy who started his celebration before he was in the endzone, lost the ball, it rolled through and out the back of the endzone, and therefore no score but a touchback for the other team. Can't remember who it was though.

dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
