I think we were raised somewhat similar in the respect my father always told me. No matter how bad you have it, someone has it worse and no matter how great you have it, someone has it better.

i'm trying my hardest to remember that right now! major problems with the ex - he just got a DUI, doesn't seem worried at all about it even though he drives a truck for a living. i'm trying my best to hold it together for the lil guys but try to explain that to two 5 year olds... 😞 :(

wow - talk about off topic!!

back to cheesey - i've admired him from the time i got to know him on a different site. i'm happy that i got to meet him & lj a few years ago. he's a terrific person who has definitely had challenges in his life.

If ya'll knew Marrdro from PP.O, you'd understand this next statement..

Cheesey, my friend, you just plopped yourself to the top of my spreadsheet.

+1

LOL. Nice.

Cheesey, someone else who has posted on both PPO and whatever forum you all happened to be posting on at the time read some of my puns and labeled me PPO's version of Cheesey.

I don't know your full story, but it sounds as though that was more of a compliment than I initially realized.

Oh, and do you know what's the shortest distance between two puns?

It's a balancing act.......which at times can be REAL hard. Some days i feel so sick that i want to give up. But then i see someone that is worse off then me, and i remember to count my blessings. With the disease i have, no one can SEE that theres anything wrong with me. So if i try extra hard not to let it get me down, and i try to laugh and remain upbeat, they say "Geez, for a guy thats sick, you sure don't show it" and they think i'm faking. To me, whats the alternative? Should i bring everybody down, throw myself a daily "pity party"? The day of the Ozaukee Idol semi finals, i was sick in bed till 5pm, and i had to be at the show by 7pm. I almost cancelled. But i toughed it out, as i KNEW i would regret it if i didn't. After the finals were over, i told the main judge i was disabled, and told him what i had. He was shocked to hear it. But i told him i did NOT want them to know before hand, as i didn't want a "pity vote".
No matter how bad it is, someone has it worse.

Your boys don't realize now how great a Mommy they have! But someday they will realize what you have had to endure for them! Thats when you get the payoff!

In all honesty, it has been an inspiration dealing with Cheesey over the last few years. One of the most humble (if not self efacing) people I know. Always has a positive attitude toward others even when he struggles personally. enjoy the DVD too! :thumbright:

TheKanataThrilla (17m) : Unfortunately he doesn't seem ready to be an emergency QB.
TheKanataThrilla (18m) : As a Canadian and a follower of Canadian University football. I am rooting for him
dfosterf (19m) : I bet a lot of us will follow the Taylor Elgersma journey with interest. Personally, got a Kurt Warner vibe goin' on. I like him
TheKanataThrilla (20m) : Not sure if either will be claimed though.
TheKanataThrilla (21m) : Tune or Hooker would make sense
dfosterf (33m) : Clayton Tune cut by the Cards? Don't know if that's the guy, we shall see
TheKanataThrilla (57m) : Per Bill Huber, the Packers will not be bringing back Taylor Elgersma or Sean Clifford on the practice squad, so a new third quarterback
Mucky Tundra (1h) : Schefter must have deleted his tweet
dfosterf (2h) : Hopefully Jerry reaches under the seat cushions and ashtrays of his jet and scrapes up the 45 million apr and spares us further nonsense
dfosterf (3h) : Have to admit the PO'd Cowboy fan videos would be fun to watch. Problem with draft picks is half their fanbase barely knows what that is
beast (3h) : I think Cowboys fans are ready to get their pitch forks and burning sticks if Jerry were to trade Micah
dfosterf (3h) : If Jerry traded Micah to GB, here in northern Va. they would have to quick build yet another data center to handle the internet hate traffic
Zero2Cool (3h) : its signing and trades that you don't hear about, other then announced
Zero2Cool (3h) : If you hear rumors about Packers sign or trade, won't happen. Not how they work
dfosterf (3h) : 19 players in a contract year. Jones called loss to us worst loss in Cowboy history. Forget Parsons trade. Not happenin' Cap'n
packerfanoutwest (5h) : The Packers, meanwhile, are the youngest team in the league for the third consecutive year.
dfosterf (7h) : That it was darkest before the dawn in Bengals and Commanders before they got deals done
Zero2Cool (7h) : what is Schefter saying?
dfosterf (7h) : He was getting Dorito infusion therapy
dfosterf (7h) : He's outta shape. Why, just the other day I saw him splayed out on the trainers table
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Parsons has followed Rasheed Walker on Twitter. Quite the choice
Mucky Tundra (14h) : Kuhn is a former player who works for the team, if somethings going down, he would be close to it
Mucky Tundra (14h) : @kuhnj30 Micah Freaking Parsons
Mucky Tundra (14h) : A LOT of buzz on the Bird App regarding Parsons; even Schefter is saying it's serious
dfosterf (19h) : *Orzech*
dfosterf (19h) : Orzich long snapper 3 yr extension
Zero2Cool (20h) : Packers signed someone for three year deal
Zero2Cool (20h) : lol i know it's insane ... sign up for the waiver wire then you'll know
wpr (20h) : YES!!!!!!
Mucky Tundra (20h) : WE WANT THE LIST! WE WANT THE LIST!
Zero2Cool (21h) : @JJLahey Β· 2m Holy crap, Packers, where the heck is the list?
Zero2Cool (21h) : haha folks on Tweeter every year this time ... 'where is list Packers!!" hahaha
wpr (22h) : He played pretty good.

Zero2Cool (23h) : NOOOOO KALEN IS GONE
Zero2Cool (23h) : Kalen King and Kamal Hadden making it. me thinks
schroeder84 (23h) : @dfosterf I suspect Elgersma WILL be hard to hide. Raw, but talented
Zero2Cool (26-Aug) : pp.com is broken, halt testing, gotta go do work things for a bit
hardrocker950 (26-Aug) : Mecole Hardman was released, to the surprise of few
Zero2Cool (26-Aug) : PP.com updated. Reset Password works, and now User Profile pages are a thing
Zero2Cool (25-Aug) : Soft hope plan is having fantasy football weekly on-site that i build. cannot do that with this setup.
Zero2Cool (25-Aug) : It's older technology, resource hog, cannot be upgraded/changed. That's to start.
packerfanoutwest (25-Aug) : Ok, but what is wrong with this site?
Zero2Cool (25-Aug) : check out packerpeople.com
Mucky Tundra (25-Aug) : Oh crap I missed that! I thought it was a 2026 pick
Zero2Cool (25-Aug) : It wasn't even next year pick, it's two years away. old dog food value
Mucky Tundra (25-Aug) : Yep! Everytime a team trades with Howie that team is the loser (so says the media)
Zero2Cool (25-Aug) : We are hosed.
