Idk if this has anything that could help us but week 3 was earlier in the year and the officials could of corrected some of the mistakes they could of made. They probably gotten better since week 3 with some rule changes and stuff.Idk that's just a thought.

Good point. Earlier in the year they are emphasizing the rules more to get the point across.

I'd also add that this is for the NFC Championship (i know you know) and with that I feel they let players, play a little more than the regular season.

And just like players and teams get better throughout the year as they get into rhythm and shake off any rust, you could probably say the same about an official and/or officiating crew.

I don't like it because the fact is they know the Packers will be aggressive, so I expect them to nitpick the Pack as a result. If they know the tendency of a player, there more likely to pay extra attention so to speak.

I hate how people kept bring that play up after the game... the penalty happened after the ball was loose and the Cards clearly got the ball. If they did call that penalty worse case for the Cards they got the ball at the 27 (after the penalty)... and if they made a FG they win... and the defense wasn't stopping them...

Plus Rodgers kicked a loose ball which is also a penalty. So the ball most likely would of been the Cards at the 17 if they called both.

The ones those refs really missed were WR Larry Fitzgerald put his foot behind Woodson and his shoulder into Woodson knocking Woodson on the ground 10 and 15 yards away from the line on both of his touchdown catches. That's offensive pass interference. The first time it looked like it could of been a mistake... the second time it was clear he was trying to do it.

You realize that that is the definition of roughing the passer, right? The fact that there is illegal contact to the QB's head or he is hit AFTER he releases the ball?

Would have been our ball 15 yards down the field.

If you watch the play, the ball comes lose in the process of his hand going to the face -- his hand bumps it out on its trajectory to Rodgers' facemask.

What irks me most about that play is that the foul is so flagrant, Joe Buck points it out the moment it happens, but Troy Aikman utterly ignores it during his analysis of the play-by-play.
