AWESOME win today over a pesky Bears team to put the Pack in the Super Bowl. They kind of lost their momentum from the Atlanta game, as they made a lot of mistakes in the second half, but as nerdmann said after the game, "What happens in Chicago stays in Chicago."

I think the Packers may be better prepared for the Super Bowl because there are some things to work on in the next two weeks. They shouldn't be too big-headed. Here are some mistakes that the Packers can address in the next two weeks:

1. Possibly the dumbest interception of Rodgers' career. All the time in the world to throw, and he hits Urlacher right between the numbers. What the...?

2. B.J. Raji doing his best Leon Lett impersonation on his way into the end zone and nearly getting the ball knocked out of his hand before crossing the goal line.

3. Desmond Bishop getting stiff-armed by Matt Forte. He had a good day other than that, though.

4. Tramon getting burned by Knox for a big gainer down to the one yard line.

5. Charles Woodson and Nick Collins doing a Keystone Kops impersonation on that TD.

6. Dom Capers sticking with the two-man front for too long and getting gouged repeatedly by Matt Forte.

7. Tramon Williams with a muff and a fumble on punt returns. I think his ball security had been perfect all season up till today.

8. Sam Shields going for the big return after the game-clinching interception and nearly fumbling as he got tackled.

Not that I want to think of the things that we did wrong right now, but these are all very accurate. Also accurate is the fact that MM brought back the same playcalling that he had early in the season. Also, James Starks was not running very hard at all in the second half. If we are going to stick with the run to try to run out the clock for an entire damn half, at least run well.

I must remind myself right now that it was a Packers/Bears game, and that's how these games go. They are NEVER pretty. Both teams make each other look like crap because they play so tough against each other. It will not be the same case in two weeks. Even though the Jets and the Steelers are fantastic teams, neither of them have the familiarity with the Packers, so I sincerely doubt that they will jam our entire offense up like the Bears did today.

A win is a win. Doesn't matter if we won by 7 or by 35, we're still going to the Super Bowl.

Haha. Man, that was a frustrating game. All try to get the criticism out of my system so I can relax this week.

Driver's drop leading to the INT. The ball going through Quarless' hands on 3rd down. Our o-line getting no push for Starks in the second half. Rodgers not getting rid of the ball quick enough getting sacked and knocking us out of FG range. Holding calls that knocked us out of FG range. Capers blitzing too much on that 80 second Bears TD drive.

Whew. That feels better. GO PACKERS AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Aikman said that they weren't blitzing much, but I agree with you: They blitzed too much on that drive. Forte was burning them all day, and all of those blitzed played right into Forte's ability to make plays at the edges and in the shallow middle part of the field.

Yeah, Capers stopped blitzing so much after that drive. We needed some more beef out there to delay Forte (who was really impressive today).

I didn't like how it seemed like we either brought 5 and 6, or we brought three. How about four?
